Sue's Food Place...a caribbean restaurant in banglore....

It's a simple Caribbean restaurant located in Indiranagar much like a bistro in Paris that run the gamut from unpretentious neighborhood joints to the smart ones managed by super chefs. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, a bit homely to put it straight. The walls are decorated with Caribbean memorabilia and Caribbean music genre, reggae history, t-shirts and colorful headgears from the islands.

The owner, Susan John called Sue is from West Indies and has set up this little cozy nook that you must experience sometime. Quite a popular joint, it was packed when we went for lunch and even saw a good crowd from the Caribbean right here in Bangalore for a weekend lunch. Apparently, it's a must visit for the West Indian cricketers, diplomats and business people from the island when they are visiting India. Apart from the regular Banglorites, the small community of Trinidadians who have settled in this city frequent this place.

Though the buffet lunch was priced at a reasonable rate of Rs 225 per head, we were treated to a delicious spread of about six to seven salads. To name a few there was egg mayonnaise mixed with capsicum, chicken salad, pan fried broccoli, beans and carrot, picnic potato salad, etc. There was soup, which was mouth watering, but I learned about it when I was halfway through the main course and felt kind of upset ;)

Omlette man of jodhpur...

Over the years, the Omelette Man's techniques have been honed to perfection.

Priced moderately at Rs 15, the omelettes are bursting with flavour and a refinement that only years of practice could have brought.

"For example, earlier we used grated cheese in the omelette, but we have discovered that cheese spread makes for a much creamier flavour," he said.

Indeed, when I bit into the cheese omelette and the warm liquid cheese spread on my palate, I found myself in an egg-heaven I didn't want to leave.

Another trick he uses is to mask the egginess of the omelette with a pinch of turmeric.

Situated at the sardare market..the omlette man is very famous among tourists and the omlette shop is recommended by "Lonely Planet" Rajasthan. The varieties of omlettes he makes is amazing and a greeting smile will always welcome you.......

The Rozabal Line

The tomb of Rozabal in Kashmir has contained the body of a great saint called Yuz Asaf since 112 A.D. But who was Yuz Asaf and what secret does the ancient tomb contain? Father Vincent Morgan is unwittingly sucked into the Rozabal tornado when flashes of his own previous lifetimes reveal some uncomfortable truths about the life and death of Jesus Christ. Vincent is soon caught in the crossfire between the Osama-bin-Laden inspired warriors of Islam, led by Ghalib-bin-Isar, and the fundamentalists of the Crux Decussata Permuta. The secret held securely within Rozabal for two millennia threatens to upset the world's balance of power. Zipping around the world caught up in a whirlwind of events, people, religion and time, from Jesus to Muhammad; from the Crusades to 9/11; from the Vatican to the White House; from Skull & Bones to the Illuminati; from Buddhist meditation to past-life regression; from the Virgin birth to nuclear destruction; and from Mary Magdalene to Osama-bin-Laden; The Rozabal Line has it all.

iPhone users to get Skype service

The firm's native voice over internet protocol (VoIP) application - Skype for iPhone - will be available for download from Apples iTune store on Tuesday.

The new service will allow users to make free calls to Skype users, but will charge for calls to other numbers.

The UK's first Skype capable handset was launched by Mobile operator 3 on 2 November 2007.

Rival applications from Fring and TruPhone are already available for the iPhone.

Unlike traditional mobile calls, which are transmitted over a cellular network, VoIP turns your voice into data and sends it over the internet using a wi-fi network.

Love Cats !!!

The Winner Stands Alone - Paulo Coelho

Set during one day at the Cannes Film Festival, this is the story of a successful, driven entrepreneur who will go to the darkest lengths to reclaim a lost love. Captured in all their crassness are producers, actors, aspiring starlets, supermodels, and notorious fashionistas, whose lives and actions hold sway over millions.

The first 12 chapters were online and so far, it looks like it is going to be another great one from Mr. Coelho. I thought of the Devil and Miss Prym while reading the chapters online as I see similarities in the thought processes of the main characters. We shall have to see...

Facebook Privacy Row: Insider's Story

After lot of hue and cry, Facebook finally backtracked and reverted to old rules but what the insider's feel about it?

In a recent telephonic interview with The Age Facebook's chief privacy officer, Chris Kelly revealed that the "entire story was a beat-up and Facebook never intended to use people's personal information outside of the site".

According to Chris Kelly, the social network did not believe it had done anything wrong. He said, "license is different to ownership ... So the speculation about people's faces showing up on billboards or Facebook owning the photos that they uploaded was just completely false."

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has cleared his stand in the blog saying that the changes in the policy were only made to make the site's policies clear to users.

Security lapse compromises Facebook privacy

Facebook s recent upgrade to its privacy controls was rendered defenseless thanks to a security lapse that recently compromised the privacy of personal photographs on an individual s Facebook profile. The loophole is a major embarrassment for the popular social networking site which, last week, had unveiled new ways to restrict access to personal profiles.
According to a report, users were still able to circumvent these new additions and pull photographs of members whose personal profiles had been protected by privacy settings.
Reacting quickly to the reports of this lapse, Facebook claimed to have fixed the bug within an hour.
A spokesperson for the company said that the company gave utmost importance to privacy and that it would continue to make enhancements to the site.

Given the increasing popularity of social networking sites like Facebook, this latest lapse is another warning to millions of users who put sensitive information and pictures in their profiles.
There have been instances where the information posted on social networking sites have been misused. With more and more people logging on websites like Facebook, Orkut and MySpace, the security aspect has become extremely important and sensitive issue for those who frequent these sites on a daily basis.
The Facebook flaw is a grim reminder of the price one may have to pay for networking online.

Android to Get Flash Support Soon

The Android platform is about to get a major boost in the form of native flash support that is expected to come to the platform very soon.

This will be a major boost to the OS, especially when the iphone is yet to get Flash Support, even with the OS 3.0. Apparently, Bsquare Corporation, a software solutions company is reportedly readying to embed Flash technology to the Android platform for a large global Tier I carrier. Bsquare is not new to the porting of flash technology to handhelds and boasts of already porting the technology to over 100 devices recently.

Integrating flash support will enable viewing of a large content of the web that currently remains inaccessible to supposedly web-friendly devices running the Android and OSX platforms. While it's still too early to say how the actual integration occurs and how well it will compare with existing and forthcoming offerings, it sure will be welcomed by the growing number of Android users out there...

When will we see it in India..??????

Protecting the BlackBerry smartphone and BlackBerry Enterprise Server against malware

Third-party applications that are designed to disrupt and cause damage to computer systems are collectively known as malware and include the following:

  • Viruses - they replicate themselves by attaching to legitimate applications on a computer.
  • Trojan horses - they are disguised as, or embedded within, legitimate applications. Trojan horse applications operate by convincing the user to take some action rather than by exploiting flaws in the security design or configuration of the target computer.
  • Worms - they replicate themselves to spread across networks and potentially overwhelm computer systems. A worm is self-contained and does not need to be part of another program to propagate itself.
  • Spyware - this is designed to log user activities and personal data and send it back to the attacker.

Some malware attacks may target BlackBerry smartphones. Attackers may attempt to use malware to execute attacks that are designed to do one or more of the following:

  • steal personal and corporate data
  • create a denial of service (DoS) attack to make a corporate network unusable
  • access a corporate network using corporate BlackBerry smartphones

Description

A presentation by Jesse D'Aguanno, a consultant with Praetorian Global, demonstrated how a BlackBerry smartphone user can download a Trojan horse application onto the BlackBerry smartphone. Malware attacks such as these are possible on any unsecured device, including a computer, smartphone, or personal data assistant (PDA).

When the BlackBerry smartphone user runs the Trojan horse application, if the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution security tools are not set to control third-party applications on the BlackBerry smartphone, the Trojan horse may gain access to systems on an internal network.

Note: Some Internet coverage of Jesse D'Aguanno's malware demonstration inaccurately reports that a malicious user can successfully initiate an attack by sending a Trojan horse application to a BlackBerry smartphone user using an email attachment. The BlackBerry Attachment Service is designed to prevent malicious applications from accessing data on the BlackBerry smartphone by using binary format parsing to open attachments and prepare them to be sent to the BlackBerry smartphone. The BlackBerry smartphone does not run an application sent as an attachment in an email message. Therefore, an email attachment cannot be used to successfully deliver Trojan horse applications to a BlackBerry smartphone user.

Troubleshooting

Whether a BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator pushes trusted third-party applications to BlackBerry smartphones or freely permits BlackBerry smartphone users to download third-party applications, BlackBerry smartphones are designed to prevent attackers from using malware to access a corporate network and BlackBerry smartphones in the following ways:

  • When you try to download any kind of application, by default, the BlackBerry smartphone first downloads a small portion of the application to determine the hash and to verify whether the application is permitted on the BlackBerry smartphone.
  • In BlackBerry Manager, BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrators set IT policies and Application Control Policies to control the manual or automatic installation of third-party applications on BlackBerry smartphones. Administrators also use these policies to control third-party application access to their organization's BlackBerry smartphone resources and applications.
  • Administrators can also place the BlackBerry Enterprise Server in multiple network segments by installing each component on a remote computer, then placing each component in its own network segment.

Using IT Policy and Application Control Policy Rules

The BlackBerry Enterprise Server provides IT policy and Application Control Policy rules to control third-party applications using the following methods:

  • Preventing BlackBerry smartphones from downloading any third-party applications over the wireless network.
  • Either requiring or preventing the installation of specific third-party applications.
  • Controlling the permissions of third-party applications that exist on BlackBerry smartphones.

Note: By default, BlackBerry smartphones can install all third-party applications until the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator uses one or more of these methods to control the installation of these applications on BlackBerry smartphones.

Using Segmented Network Architecture

Placing the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution components in a segmented network architecture is an option designed to prevent the spread of potential attacks from one BlackBerry Enterprise Solution component, which is installed on a remote computer, to another computer within a LAN. In a segmented network, attacks are isolated and contained on one computer.

BlackBerry Services In India Raise Security Concerns !

What is that they say about throwing out the baby with the bathwater? Concerns around security concerns have become a cause for concern for mobile operators and Blackberry users in India: the Department of Telecom has written to mobile operators providing Blackberry services in India, asking about whether there is a way to monitor BlackBerry usage, when there is a need for “lawful interception”. CNBC-TV18 reports (via Tech2), security agencies feel that they cannot decrypt encrypted Blackberry messages and the servers are not located in India. Airtel, Reliance, Voda and BPL are among the operators who offer Blackberry services in India, and issue came to light when Tata Teleservices’ proposal to offer Blackberry services was rejected. It appears that other operators did not seek the DoT’s approval before launching the services…this also indicates that there is no continuous monitoring of services, since Blackberry services have been launched with much fanfare and media coverage. Sources tell CNBC-TV18 that existing service providers will meet the Telecom Secretary this week, and they have 4-6 weeks to respond. In the meantime, the services are not being stopped.

In the meantime, Research In Motion has assured DoT that the security issues will be sorted out. Business Standard reports that RIM (NSDQ: RIMM) has said it will work with the Dot, the Canadian embassy and the security agencies of both countries. Blackberry has around 400,000 corporate customers in India. COAI, on the other hand, is using the big-brother argument, and talking about a police state.

Problems Plague BlackBerry Storm !!

Even before Storm could strike the indian shores, we are getting reports of problems plaguing the new phone from RIM.

BlackBerry Storm -- one of the mobile phone touted as the 'iPhone killer' has already been critically received by the masses and some even going to the extent of calling it the 'Blackberry Dud'

The BlackBerry Storm - first touchscreen from RIM - has issues that include; loss of e-mail connectivity, couple of issues with the keyboard not responding and the phone's screen orientation. Apparently RIM has acknowledged them and also passed a list to Verizon employees.

According to reports, the some of the problems will be resolved in the firmware update that is expected in the first week of December.

iPhone Nano ???

There are no subtle hints from Apple about the release of a MacBook Nano or a netbook with a different name, but there sure is a sign that is significant enough to suggest that Apple is going to bring out an iPhone Nano in the future (an addition to the list of rumors attached to this product).

XSKN, a silicone casings maker based in China, has a section for its casings where it has listed the iPhone Nano along with the iPhone 3G and the 1st Gen iPhone -

Russian news sites suffer DoS attacks

The websites of Kommersant, a leading Russian newspaper and the Echo of Moscow radio station suffered massive Denial of Service attacks between 1st and 2nd of May, leading to significant disruption. The two sites were unavailable for most of the day on Wednesday in what some have already termed as revenge attacks for the political views of the editors in these news outlets.

According to reports in Russian media, the first signs of trouble on the Echo of Moscow site appeared late on May 1st, which is a public holiday in Russia. A second DoS attack was registered by network administrators on May 2nd. Shortly afterwards, the Kommersant site also went down, leading to speculations about possible links between the two incidents. Service on both sites was restored by administrators later in the day.

Pavel Chernikov, editor in chief of the Kommersant website, said the attack had not yet been traced, and that the perpetrators remained anonymous. However, in statements to the news site Lenta.ru, he mentioned his belief that the attacks might be linked to the publication of a police interview with the exiled oligarch Boris Berezovsky. The interview was carried out in London at the request of the Russian prosecution service investigating the death last year of Alexander Litvinenko from radiation poisoning.

New T Mobile G1

It's hard to believe, but rumors of a "Googlephone" have been floating around since 2006. . Needless to say, it's been a long, slow ride to get to Android, the Open Handset Alliance, and ultimately the T-Mobile G1. If we said expectations were high for the introduction of this device, it would be an understatement. It's not every day that a company with the stature of Google announces it's getting into the phone game, and it's certainly not every day that an honest-to-goodness innovator comes along. That last time the team at Engadget got this stoked for a device, it was a little something called the iPhone -- and you know how that turned out. Will Android and the G1 live up to the hype? Is this the first coming of a serious new contender in the mobile space, or has the triple threat of Google, HTC, and T-Mobile not delivered on their promises? We've put both the device and the software through its paces to bring you the definitive review of the T-Mobile G1 and Android.

Starting with the harware part the first thing that strikes you about the G1 design is its... well, surprising lack of "design." In a world filled with shiny silver / black sticks, and consumed by an unhealthy competition to be the absolute thinnest, the G1 stands out with its decidedly trend-bucking, quirky styling. That's not to say there's nothing to love here -- quite the opposite. The device bares a kind of charming, retro-future look; like a gadget in a 1970's sci-fi movie set in the year 2038. The smooth, round edges make the phone seem eminently approachable, and HTC (and design partner Google) forgo single-button simplicity for functionality, dotting the phone with all manner of hardware controls. One thing that's clear is that the phone isn't trying to break any dieting records -- but while the G1 isn't super-thin, the thickness is by no means a deal breaker. At 0.62 inches it hardly measures up to standards set by similar devices like the iPhone 3G (0.48 inches) or not-so-similar (yet venerable) RAZR V3 at 0.55 inches closed, but it won't have any trouble sliding into your pocket. Getting it to slide into your heart, however, is strictly going to be a matter of taste; this form factor definitely inspires strong feelings.

The Software part and User Interface:

Accurate or not, the phrase "it just works" has been closely tied to the Apple camp for eons -- and obviously, the iPhone tries to ooze that mantra from its every pore. Without ever having made a phone, though, Google already had a leg up in delivering on this promise to handsets by owning a service platform that virtually everyone uses in one capacity or another. Sure, plenty of people use MobileMe, but it really doesn't hold a candle to the Google juggernaut -- and even if it did, Apple hadn't counted on making seamlessly integrated, synchronized services part of its mobile platform from the get-go.

But what does that translate to in terms of usability? It's difficult to accurately describe how utterly painless it is to set up and use the G1 for the first time: you just enter your Google account's username and password and you're off to the races. If you don't have an account -- well, first of all, welcome to civilization. Second of all, no worries -- you can create one in less than five minutes' time right from the comfort of your phone. If you already actively use Google Calendar, Contacts, and Gmail, your data just seamlessly appears after a couple minutes of initial synchronization, quietly and with no fuss. Magic.

Problem is, most people that use Gmail aren't also actively using and managing Google Contacts. The app regularly gets panned as a tacked-on afterthought in Gmail, and we'll just say it straight out: it's truly awful. If you've used it, you know what we're talking about -- it makes managing contacts a laborious pain, and provides only the bare minimum of tools to get your info in order. Like it or not, you're joined to it at the hip the moment you make this platform a part of your life. If you're not keeping on top of it, it'll automatically add entries for anyone it decides you're emailing frequently, which means that over time you end up with this massive, unruly, and essentially useless list of email addresses. By default, this junk all gets transferred to your phone, making for an intimidating, frustrating experience the first time you open your little black book from the G1. It's easy to create a new group of Android-specific contacts -- and smartly, the phone also allows you to show only contacts that have phone number associated with them -- but we would've liked to have seen a wizard either on the web or phone side that makes cleaning up your contact list a breeze.

Despite the shortcomings, Google has still managed to completely eliminate one of the biggest pain points in the wireless world: changing phones. Even with ActiveSync, iSync, Intellisync, WhateverSync, the process of bringing a new phone online has usually been hairy at best, largely because you're moving across heterogeneous platforms. Sometimes the sync goes the wrong way and wipes out data on your PC, sometimes data just flat-out refuses to transfer, and quite often, you've got to physically connect the device to your computer to make it all happen.

If you're not using a smartphone, the situation's even worse; sometimes your carrier offers a solution for transferring contacts, sometimes you can get stuff where you need it to go over Bluetooth or the little chunk of storage on your SIM, but any way you slice it, it's not pretty. With Android, Google has the luxury of being able to take the monolithic approach -- you're always precisely one login and about sixty seconds away from having your entire world downloaded to you over the aether. For end users, the benefits of storing data in the cloud are more tangible than ever. That "cloud" just happens to belong to Google, and once you're in the ecosystem, it's hard to get out. Google AdWord revenue, secured.

User Interface :

he G1's interface skin -- Android's default for touchscreens and only released skin thus far -- is thoroughly modern and attractive, but its high-contrast, almost cartoonish look might be a turn-off for some. In a sick, twisted way, that dovetails nicely with the fact that Google's stonewalling the enterprise market for the moment by leaving out support for VPN, Microsoft Exchange, and BlackBerry Enterprise Server; it's just a hip-looking, totally approachable UI that doesn't reek one bit of corporate starch. We'd still like to see a ton more configurability here, though. Google's own "Spare Parts" app, a free download from the Market, gets the ball rolling by allowing you to change the system text size -- something that clearly should've been including as part of Android's standard build, especially considering accessibility concerns and the fact that the default size is pretty freakin' huge. For example, in its shipping configuration the Settings application can only show six menu items at a time in the portrait orientation, and Gmail shows a fraction of an email more than that. On a 3.2-inch 480 x 320 display, that's just not enough for everyone. To add insult to injury, the current version of Spare Parts is buggy -- if you change screen orientation, text size reverts to the default.

Android's easy to use, but it's not always consistent. For folks coming from other platforms (which we guess is everyone, since Android's brand spanking new), that could be a little frustrating and make the learning curve steeper than it has to be. Here's an example: to delete a contact, you long-press their entry. The selection highlight will fade from orange to white, and after a moment, a contextual pop-up menu will appear, where you can choose "Delete contact." Okay, that's all well and good -- but try using the same paradigm in the alarm clock. No dice, right? Doesn't matter how long you hold your thumb on that alarm, sport, it's not going to give you a pop-up menu. Here, you inexplicably have to short-press the alarm, which takes you to another screen; once you're here, you push the Menu button and choose "Delete alarm." It's not hard, it's just needlessly different.

Speaking of long presses, we did have some problems with the G1 being unable to distinguish between a long press and a scroll motion. The instant the phone detects that your finger has moved, it kills the notion of the long press in progress until you lift your finger off the screen and try again. Theoretically that's not a problem, but it's really easy to accidentally move your thumb just a millimeter too far while waiting for a pop-up menu to appear, which triggers like a one-pixel scroll of the list instead.

On the flipside, these same long presses we're complaining about enable copy/paste between any two text fields in the system, so we've got to give them their proper due. Granted, we frequently hear "I've never used copy/paste on my phone in my life," but we think the root of that attitude stems from the fact that many users are accustomed to phones that don't support it or aren't powerful enough to make it worthwhile. Android's at that level, though -- and with the G1 clearly taking the so-called "Sidekick Pro" market head on, we think these same folks are going to use it, like it, and refuse to go back to a platform that doesn't support it. All it takes is a few copies of lengthy snippets from an email to a note or a calendar for it to earn its keep, as far as we're concerned.

It might seem like a minor point to make, but you'd be surprised at how quickly this becomes a huge part of your G1 experience: Android's notification system is world-class. In fact, it's the best we've ever seen on any phone or any platform. The first piece of the puzzle is a totally average-looking status bar that appears at the top of basically every screen. To the right, you get the standard information every self-respecting phone is going to provide you: time, battery charge, signal strength, data network status, WiFi, and silent mode. To the left side, though, is where things start to get interesting. Over here, any app can place an icon to indicate that something interesting has happened -- instant messages, emails, voicemails, schedule reminders, and so on -- and optionally scroll a brief message (say, a snippet of a received SMS). Already, you're looking at a system that beats Windows Mobile and the iPhone, and we haven't even gotten to the good part.

Hell ride in volvo between pune and mumbai....

Few years back the volvo service between pune and mumbai was so good that travelling was not a headache..But now..new law of prohibiting luxury buses from entering the city has really made the hell for commuters. Last month i planned to board the volvo from station, i went through the unmannerd pulling and spitting conversation with the agents near pune station and got to METROLINK'S counter, paid 200 rs and booked a good seat in hope that i will be comfortable. The agent told me that bus is of 9:15 schedule so i was waiting at the shop for bus to arrive but around 8:45 some guys working for metrolink started stoping autorickshaws and asking the boarders to get in and reach kothrud (HEAD OFFICE OF METROLINK). I was shocked...my blood was boiling that time..i was feeling like a food who paid and now regreting for that. You can feel that there is no respect for commuters..These VOLVO people just making money by lieing to their customers and then shouting back on them if anyone of them tried to act smart by enquiring...I hope soon there will be some laws or some code of conduct for these luxury bus operators who misbehave with people and charge anything from commuters....!!!!!!!

What Can Be Done..???

Its season of elections now and every news channel is just running behind the campaigning of politicians. It looks like political parties are using news channels as a mean of publicity and campaigning but no one is worried for the common people who are just busy earning their bread and struggling to keep up their jobs. As the election dates are coming nearby I am getting little disturbed to think that again some political party will be elected and again they will play with the emotion of common people. Keeping aside their moral duty and geting busy in making illegal money by various means. While we all keep on hoping for the good time to come when everything will change, these politician are baking upon our hopes..!!!! What can be done.?? Absolutely Nothing..!!!!

Dell ADAMO !!!!

Dell officially confirmed that they will be releasing a new ultrathin laptop called the Adamo. The Adamo is a sleek laptop with an aluminum chassis, with a strikingly similar appearance the HP Voodoo Envy 133.Dell has been rumored to be working on the Adamo for a while now, and they've been refining the design during that time. Since the launch of Apple's new MacBook lineup, a lot of people have been impressed by the quality of the aluminum construction, and the Adamo we used definitely looks and feels like a high quality notebook. As a side note, we asked about the possibility of using this sort of chassis Dell's other notebooks. Dell indicated that the amount of time and energy required to produce such a chassis is simply too long to do on a mass scale (not to mention the cost), so it will likely remain in smaller volume products.

The Adamo includes an edge-to-edge 13.4” 16:9 HD glass display with a backlit keyboard and will be available in two models of Onyx and Pearl. Although neither impresses in the area of design, Dell has decided it worthy of placing an outrageous price tag, starting at $2000. With a Flash memory instead of a regular hard drive, the basic Adamo will have a 1.2GHz Intel Core2Duo processor, Wireless N, Bluetooth 2.1, 2GB memory, 128GB state drive, 2 USB ports, a USB/eSATA port and a display port. For those wishing to spend even more extravagantly, Dell offers external storage options of 250GB or 500GB, external DVD+/-RW or Blu-ray disc drive, 8GB USB drive and more.

The Adamo may truly turn out to be the slimmest laptop on the planet currently with the most decadent price, but the Dell laptop may not be as portable as they make it sound. Adamo’s competitors would be pleased to know that it is heavier than the Apple MacBook Air at 1.7kg, although still lighter than the average laptop. The Dell Adamo is available in 24 countries with the company taking pre-orders starting this week.

Royksopp's first studio album in four years, Junior will be followed by the release of a second long-player, Senior, later this year.

Android....!!!!

Android is an open operation system and platform that is based on the Linux kernel. In addition, it has a middleware application and other valuable development tools. Developed by Google, Android is designed to work with mobile devices. As a result, developers can use Google-developed Java libraries to write managed code in a Java-like language. However, Android does not work with programs that were developed in native code.

There were three prototypes for Android that Google revealed. In February, 2008, one of the prototypes that Google developed showed basic Google applications. In May, 2008, Google unveiled a second prototype that featured a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor, along with a Synaptics touch-screen, 128 MB of RAM, and 256 MB of flash memory. This prototype was based on the UMTS cellular standard. Google demonstrated this prototype using a 3.6 Mbit/s HSDPA connection. Finally, in August, 2008, Google released the Android 0.9 SDK, which consists of enhanced development tools and extended and updated API.

You'll definitely want to read about what Android has to offer, and if you like what you see, you may consider checking out theT-Mobile G1 mobile phone. The T-Mobile G1 mobile phone is the first phone that uses the Google Android operating system.

Trip to Karni Mata Temple, Deshnoke

Our trip to Karni mata temple was quite good this time, as we (kartik, vishu and me) planned to leave home as early as possible in morning, we left around 9am and started our journey by our scorpio. I got some parathas packed from my home and in the first leg of our journey we all started fighting for parathas. Our first stop was at Nagaur bypass where we had tea and our parathas.
I still miss the tea we had at the roadside dhaaba, it was a saffron tea, WOW!! It was chilly morning and after drivin for about 150 kms, saffron tea was so refreshing for us. We continued our journey towards deshnoke and captured some very good shots in between although we were not equipped with pro cams but our mobile cams did a good job.

We saw many jeeps being overcrowded and were really amazed to see how people were just standing on some few inches of space availabe on the jeep.

The most dangerous and shocking view we hadwas an overloaded truck..It was unbelievable how it was overloaded and causing the jam on the highway. Atlast we reached Deshnoke and the view of the karni mata temple gave us energy, i just love that feeling of spirituality there. It has some attraction or could be that our faith in karni mata attracts us.

After the darshan, we started feeding the holy rats of karni mata, as usual we already bought few coconuts for rats and fed them. Kartik and i just enjoyed feeding rats but our brother "VISHU" was afraid of them and their spooky presence and on every touch he was just shouting in temple. haa haa haa...!!!

We enjoyed so much that day and now when we all are back to our work, we all miss that day and good time we had. I hope karni mata makes us to plan another trip next time and bless us by letting us enjoy good times. Jai Karni Mata.
