The Android platform is about to get a major boost in the form of native flash support that is expected to come to the platform very soon.
This will be a major boost to the OS, especially when the iphone is yet to get Flash Support, even with the OS 3.0. Apparently, Bsquare Corporation, a software solutions company is reportedly readying to embed Flash technology to the Android platform for a large global Tier I carrier. Bsquare is not new to the porting of flash technology to handhelds and boasts of already porting the technology to over 100 devices recently.
Integrating flash support will enable viewing of a large content of the web that currently remains inaccessible to supposedly web-friendly devices running the Android and OSX platforms. While it's still too early to say how the actual integration occurs and how well it will compare with existing and forthcoming offerings, it sure will be welcomed by the growing number of Android users out there...
When will we see it in India..??????
