Trip to Karni Mata Temple, Deshnoke

Our trip to Karni mata temple was quite good this time, as we (kartik, vishu and me) planned to leave home as early as possible in morning, we left around 9am and started our journey by our scorpio. I got some parathas packed from my home and in the first leg of our journey we all started fighting for parathas. Our first stop was at Nagaur bypass where we had tea and our parathas.
I still miss the tea we had at the roadside dhaaba, it was a saffron tea, WOW!! It was chilly morning and after drivin for about 150 kms, saffron tea was so refreshing for us. We continued our journey towards deshnoke and captured some very good shots in between although we were not equipped with pro cams but our mobile cams did a good job.

We saw many jeeps being overcrowded and were really amazed to see how people were just standing on some few inches of space availabe on the jeep.

The most dangerous and shocking view we hadwas an overloaded truck..It was unbelievable how it was overloaded and causing the jam on the highway. Atlast we reached Deshnoke and the view of the karni mata temple gave us energy, i just love that feeling of spirituality there. It has some attraction or could be that our faith in karni mata attracts us.

After the darshan, we started feeding the holy rats of karni mata, as usual we already bought few coconuts for rats and fed them. Kartik and i just enjoyed feeding rats but our brother "VISHU" was afraid of them and their spooky presence and on every touch he was just shouting in temple. haa haa haa...!!!

We enjoyed so much that day and now when we all are back to our work, we all miss that day and good time we had. I hope karni mata makes us to plan another trip next time and bless us by letting us enjoy good times. Jai Karni Mata.
